Holiday Presents...

I bought this JCrew Garland Cami today for only $49.99...on sale, so grab one before they're all gone. I plan on pairing it with this Jackie Cardigan.

As for some other recent purchases...I've been trying to limit my spending being that the holidays are right around the corner and the general state of the economy. I am normally not a big fan of any of the pants at Old Navy, but I was in need of some new longer slacks that I could wear with heels...and these fit perfect! I bought them in khaki and black, and I love them!

My favorite recent purchase is this Ruffle Cami, also from Old Navy. Who else thinks these look kinda sorta like something that JCrew would offer? Well, I do...and they're only $24.50. I got one in white, black, and pink, although the website has limited colors available.

I have a few other purchases I'll share...but I'll save those for tomorrow. I've been very absent from this blog in recent months...mostly because I just haven't been inspired to write. I'll try to make an effort...but rest assured, I've been reading all your blogs out there, even if I haven't been writing on my own.

New purchases...

Old Navy has some great new summer dresses. I picked up this one for only $29! It's a very casual linen fabric though, and I'll be wearing it with flip flops even though the pic shows the model in heels.

Yesterday I finally broke down and bought a pair of Tory Burch Reva's in black patent. I've tried so many different kinds of flats with mixed results...so I finally decided to spring for the brand I've heard so much about. I've yet to wear them, but I'm hoping they'll be my new favorite work shoe :)

In other news, I cut my hair into a shoulder length bob yesterday. I'm still getting used to it, I've always had hair to the middle of my back. I'll post pics later in the week once I master the new 'do.

The perfect reunion dress that is! If you remember, I got a Macy's card for Christmas that I've yet to use, and I was browsing through their website tonight when I came across this Calvin Klein spring dress.

I absolutely LOVE it!!! I'll be heading over to Macy's tomorrow to try it on. I love that it's Tiffany's blue too :)

Twilight DVD

The Twilight DVD was released tonight at midnight! My friend D and I got our copies at Borders (no we didn't pre-order, D just stopped by Borders earlier today and got us tickets so we didn't have to wait in line) and cannot wait to watch the deleted and extended scenes. So excited!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! My parents are flying in tomorrow, so I'll be spending it with them. Keep your fingers crossed that the nice weather continues.

What would you do with 30 pairs of shoes? Personally, I'd probably give all my friends matching shoes for Christmas/birthdays...and then wear a pair back into the store and smile smuggly at the sales girl...if she even still worked there, that is! Good to know that executives at JCrew actually care about the customer...we are the reason they have jobs afterall. I know I do my part, ha! :)

That's right, the ruffled cardigan's are back at Old Navy. This is the third time I've seen them return since last fall. Everyone loves these cardigans, and rightly so! They're 100% cotton and excellent quality...rivaling that of the much more expensive JCrew.

My laptop is in the hands of GeekSquad at the moment. The past couple of days it wouldn't charge, even when it was plugged in. We took it into Best Buy today, thinking they would maybe just give us a new charger cable.

Nope.

They're sending it in to Gateway and I won't get it back for 2-3 weeks. Rude.

So now I'm sitting at my desk in my office/guest bedroom. I hate it in here, I'd much rather be lying on the couch watching TV while working on the computer. What can I say, I like to multi-task.

Oscars!

Who caught the Oscars tonight? The show seemed to be catered to a younger crowd this year, with the mentions of High School Musical and Twilight, neither of which were nominated for any awards. No complaints from me though, it was much more entertaining than in years past.

There didn't seem to be any major fashion disasters this time around. Although I was thrilled to see Kate Winslet win her first oscar, her hair was a little helmet-like for my tastes. I think she looked much prettier at the Golden Globes. In my opinion, minor fashion disasters included Beyonce and her odd black/gold dress, and Miley Cyrus' dress that was much too old for her. Sweetie, you're 16, dress like it!

On to the good...I loved Anne Hathaway's cream/gold dress, Natalie Portman's pink dress was adorable, and Jennifer Aniston looked beautiful, as did her arch nemisis, Angelina. Loved her green earrings and cocktail ring!

As for the highlight of the evening...Robert Pattinson! He looked amazingly handsome, as usual. I cannot wait for Twilight to come out on DVD next month. Here's a link to Robert and Amanda Seyfried presenting the love montage.

I absolutely love Chelsea Handler. She is really funny, and I love her style of comedy, and her deadpan delivery. She has a show on E! every night at 11pm, so if you've never seen her, I highly encourage you to check her out (and her "little nugget", Chuey). Here's a link to a hillarious interview she did on Friday with Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli (sorry, the video would not let me embed here). Also, she's written a couple of books, one of which I got for Christmas, so take a break from the Twilight books and go read "Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea."

Now that V-day has passed, we are officially almost done with winter...bring on spring, and more importantly, spring dresses!!! Nothing is better than the perfect spring dress, and I try to stock up on at least one every year. This year, I also have my ten year high school reunion to attend, so I have an excuse to buy yet another dress. So now I have the added pressure of finding a dress that will magically portray how successful, happy, and beautiful I am ;)

This commerical just played while I was watching the Grammy's and it made me smile, so I wanted to share it with all of you. In times like these, with the economy collapsing around us, and no one wanting to read the news for fear of yet another story about bankruptcy or a mass layoff, I'll take all the smiles I can.

How is the current economy effecting everyone one there? Is your company and others in your industry going through layoffs in your area of the country? I work in Silicon Valley, and up until the last couple of months, the recession hadn't really hit those of us in the technology industry. But now, I'm hearing about layoffs left and right, all over Silicon Valley...nearly every day. I wasn't here in the early 2000's for the big dot com fall, so this is really the first recession I've experienced in my adult life. IT'S FREAKIN SCARY! Thankfully, I have a job, and so does my husband, but I can't help but worry everytime I read the news. Scary times people, scary times. :(

Weekend Recap

P and I went to see "He's Just Not Than Into You" on Friday night with our friends L and L. I don't know about you all, but I loved it. To be fair though, I've really haven't seen too many chick flicks that I didn't like, haha. Justin Long (the Mac guy) is hillarious though...so go see it if you haven't.

Saturday I planned on doing all my laundry, cleaning the kitchen, and spending a little time on work related projects. What did I actually do, you ask? I spent most of the day reading Twlight Fan Fiction. For those of you who don't know, there are tons of sites out there dedicated to Twilight fans, who write their own version, or continuation of the Twlight saga. Cheesy? Yeah, kinda, but oh so addicting. I swear, you can start reading one, and then you're clicking on the next one, and the next one, and before you know it the whole day is gone. Kinda like reading blogs.... :)

Today P and I did some work around the house, ran a couple of errands, and had a late breakfast together. I'm watching the Grammy's as I type, and they're just okay this year. I'm kinda bummed that Jason Mraz didn't win for Song of the Year, but John Mayer won for Male Pop Vocal Performance. Did anyone see Katy Perry perform? Her stage was too cute (I couldn't find a photo online), filled with huge pieces of fruit, and she looked adorable, as usual.

I really should have done this months ago...being that I work in marketing...oh well. I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it...I can't even keep up with changing my facebook status! Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next movie! I know the intended audience for these books are teenagers, but they are so addicting! Casting Robert Pattinson didn't hurt either ;)

A: Probably "bye" to P before he left.

A: Yesterday I went shopping with my friend E and bought a white cotton blouse from H&M, a tiffany blue table runner from Pottery Barn, and navy bermuda shorts from Target.

A: The dishwasher, the sound of my fingers hitting the keys, and cars passing by my house.

Q: What is your favorite weather, and why?
A: I absolutely love spring weather. It's so refreshing to feel the warm sun after weeks (or sometimes months up here in SF) of rain. It's like a new beginning! Plus, I ♥ spring clothes!

A: I am so not a morning person, so I don't get up until I absolutely have to, which is about 7am during the week, and whenever I feel like on the weekends.

Q: If you could have a house–totally paid for, fully furnished–anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
A: Right here in San Francisco. I'd love to be able to actually buy a house here. Not a condo, a house. I'd love a large house in the Presidio vith an awesome view of the Golden Gate.

A: Where do I start? I loved to read as a child. My favorites included the Little Golden Books, Bernstein Bears, and I evolved on to the Judy Bloom books, the Ramona books, the Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley Twins, and later on Christoper Pike and R.L. Stein mystery/horror books.

An Interview with Me!

A few weeks back (I'm a bit behind) Erin at The Prep-E Girl did an interview post, and now it's my turn...

If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life (yes, it will magically shrink/grow to fit your body) – what would it be?
Wow, this is tough, but it would have to be my Citizen jeans, black Coach flats, a simple white t-shirt, grey tweed JCrew blazer, and a pink sheer scarf for fun.

Where is your favorite vacation destination? Why?
At this point I'd have to New Mexico (yes it's in the USA people, between AZ and TX!)...because that's where I grew up and my family still lives there. I try to go back and visit as much as I can. Being that I only get two weeks paid vacation a year, that's where I usually end up spending my time off...trying to fit in as much time as I can with my parents, brother, and two younger sisters. Love ya!!

You're allowed to go back and change one thing about your past. What would it be and how would you alter it?
Sometimes I wish I could go back and change my priorities in high school. As a typical teenage girl, my main priorities were boys, shopping, hanging out, and more boys...with school as a distant last place. Don't get me wrong, I graduated with a respectable 3.5, but I know it could have been a 4.0. I think that I should have spent more time studying and doing hard work instead of worrying about how cool I was and which boy like me. Chances are I would have gotten into a more prestigious college out-of-state...instead of a state university. I do believe that everything happens for a reason, but I can't help but think that a degree from a top school would have let me down a better, although different path. So listen up ladies, school should come first! You're parents are right (seriously), you have all the time in the world for parties and boys after you graduate! :)

What did your prom dress look like?
Keep in mind that I graduated from high school in 1999! My senior prom dress was a floor lenth, princess style dress. It was a deep navy color that shimmered black in the right light, with spaghetti straps and black embroidery on the corset bodice. Needless to say, I went all out that year, and spent wayyyy to much on that dress!

If you could pass only one of your traits (physical, emotional, personality, etc) to all of your children and childrens' children, what would you chose?
Hmmm, I was wrong about the first question, this is a tough one! I guess I'd want to pass on my perception. I am very tuned in to people's feelings and am very good at deciphering a persons attitude and reaction, whether it be facial expressions, tone of voice, mannerisms, etc. I don't know that I'm explaining it well, but I hope you know what I mean. This can come in handy a lot of times, and it's something that I've noticed a lot of people don't have. Some are just oblivious I guess.

Just wanted to take a moment to share a few recent finds...

I saw these at Pottery Barn yesterday. They are ceramic milk cartons and ceramic cupcake liners (yes you can bake in them)! Kinda weird, but so cute! They're not on the Potter Barn website yet, but I think the prices ranged from $15 - $30 dollars. Sorry for the photo, it was taken on my iphone.

I saw these in Target yesterday, and they reminded me of Kate. Super cute nautical beach cover up for the summer!

Lastly, this is from Jennysbakeshop on Etsy and I have to have get it! I'll probably go with the turquoise version to match my kitchen. It'll be my valentines present to myself ;)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather here in the Bay Area is uncharacteristically sunny and warm for this time of year. I think it was pushing 70 degrees all weekend. No complaints from me, but I have a feeling the rain will return just as I get out my spring clothes.

Speaking of spring clothes...has anyone checked out Old Navy lately? They have tons of super cute nautical inspired finds. Some of my favorites are this trench coat, shirt dress, stretchy headband, and striped hoodie. I did manage to contain myself though and I only walked out with a new cable knit sweater (can never have to many of those, especially at $25!), and this cute work shirt:

You'll have to zoom in, but it's actually mini black polka dots on white. Can't wait to pair this with a black sweater vest!

I also stopped by JCrew over the weekend and they have some equally cute finds, but for some reason I can't find them on their website. I think they need to make some updates! Has anyone else noticed that JCrew seems to get more pricey each season??? It's starting to get ridiculous! I'll be heading to the JCrew Factory Store next weekend for some reasonably priced pieces :)

As for the rest of the weekend, I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with my friend L yesterday, went to a late lunch with P today, and spent the rest of the afternoon shopping.

Weekend Wrap Up...

I had a very very lazy weekend. Friday night I met up with my friend L who had been in Canada for the past couple of weeks for the holidays. We went to go see Bride Wars and caught up on girl time. The movie was extremely funny, we laughed sooo much! It's a nice break from all of the serious and sad movies that are in the theaters right now. I ♥ chick flicks!

For most of Saturday and today I did absolutely nothing! I read both New Moon and Eclipse from the Twilight saga, and alternated between lounging on the couch and my bed watching movies. I don't know why I was feeling so lazy this weekend, but it was nice. As an added bonus, I didn't spend any money at all over the whole weekend!

Right now I'm watching the Golden Globes, and they're kind of boring as usual. I mostly just watch to see what everyone is wearing. Kate Winslet looked fabulous in her black evening gown, Zac Efron looked very handsome and old school hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio was gorgeous as always, Cristina Applegate was so pretty in her yellow dress, and Jennifer Lopez looked better than she has in a long time. Of course, there were a few disasters out there too...namely Drew Barrymore's hair (what was she thinking!?!?!), Hayden Panetierre's dress, Eva Mende'z dress, and worst of all...Renee Zellweger's terrible hair and dress (ugh!). Did anyone else notice that a lot of the women's boobs were smashed down by their too tight dresses? Uncomfortable...

Hope everyone out there had a more productive weekend than I did!

What I loved about 2008...

P and I celebrated our first anniversary in October
We were able to go home twice this year...once in May when my younger brother graduated from college and again in November for Thanksgiving and P's sister's wedding
I finally just stopped reading blogs and started one of my own
I got not just one, but two raises at work as well as a promotion
My younger sister A spent the summer out here in Cali with us...best summer EVER!
P and I took an awesome weekend trip to Tiburon in August for my friend L's wedding
We spent an amazing Christmas at home this year and it was perfect...quiet and stressfree
I shopped until I dropped and found some amazing finds
I started reading again and discovered the Twilight series!
Despite the tough economy, I have a great job, a great apartment and money in the bank

What I did not like about 2008...

P's company which he'd been with for 8 years filed for chapter 7 in July...and he was laid off
I found out that I really miss living near my family once A left after the summers end
My car window was broken in April
My car was towed in December and vandalized on the same night
I got my first parking ticket

All in all, not too bad. I know many people out there have had far worse 2008's than I did. I'm all ready for 2009 and whatever it will bring!

5 Things I Want Right Now...

So...I know Christmas was only three days ago, but I've been checking out a lot of websites looking for ways to burn my Christmas cash. Here's a sampling of what I'll be purchasing in the coming weeks...

1. Red Rain Boots from Target. I already have some in Navy and I love them. I even let my friend wear them in her wedding photos (yes, I'm one of the pictured bridesmaids). So cute and perfect for the rainy weather here in SF, and the best part is they are only $25!!! Can't beat that! Now if only I had a closet large enough to house all the items I buy on a whim...

2. Kitchen Aid Martha Stewart Blue Hand Mixer from Macy's. I love Martha's line at Macy's...I registered for tons of her stuff last year when I got married. This is m favorite color of blue too, so this will be the perfect addition to my kitchen. Sadly, my kitchen is a bit too small to house the larger mixer, so I'll have to make do with the hand mixer.

3. Desk Embosser from Paper Source. I've seen this around for awhile, but have somehow never gotten around to buying one. They are super cute though and a nice way to dress up plain envelopes. I'm going to order one with my initials and return address.

4. 7 For All Mankind 'A' Pocket Jeans from Nordstroms. Okay, I normally always buy my "nice" jeans at Nordstroms because they have an awesome return policy and they have free hemming (which is required when you're 5'2"). However, I got a Macy's giftcard for Christmas, so I decided to check out their selection of jeans. To my delight they carried much of the same jeans as Nordstroms, and were about $10 cheaper. What stopped me from buying this pair right then and there was the fact that they do not have free hemming, or even a tailor on-site. So the moral of the story is: it's better to pay the extra ten bucks and have your jeans hemmed for free and save yourself the hassle of driving to the tailors. The end.

5. A 240 Volvo sedan from the 80's in either light blue, navy, maroon, or silver. I've never been a car person and I've only owned used cars. I guess I'd much rather put my money into a nice place to live and nice things to wear, after all, the car sits in the driveway 22 hours of the day. I've been driving a newish Toyota Corolla since I moved to the Bay Area four years ago and I have had the worst luck with this car. I've been towed twice, had my window busted once, and my car stereo stolen another time. Granted, the towing incidents were technically both my fault, but the break-ins, not so much. You'd think with the all nice luxury cars running around that my little Corolla wouldn't atrack any attention. Anyways, I've always had a love for old Volvo's...my first car in high school was actually a very similar Volvo. So, as soon as I can find a used, but in excellent condition 1980's Volvo, I'm getting rid of the Corolla and becoming a soccor mom. Just kidding about the soccor mom part, but I really am getting a Volvo. Yes my friends, I am a nerd. :)

Hope everyone out there is having a very merry Christmas! I'm having a wonderfully relaxing day at home with P (something that doesn't happen very often). My cold is slowly but surely getting better and I'm very grateful for this four day weekend to recover...and then another four day weekend next week, yea!!! :)

Well, it was an interesting weekend, to say the least. I'm so grateful to Jody at JCrew...if not for her, I would have had to buy a new phone on top of the fees I paid to get my car out the towing lot. Lesson learned: always pay attention to where you are parking, no matter how much of a hurry you are in to go shopping!

Thanks to everyone for their supportive comments, much appreciated! It's nice to be able to vent sometimes, you know?

Worst Day Ever

So I went to my friend L's house after work today so we could head to the outlets together. We left my car on the street across from her house, and left in her car. First off, I left my iphone by the register at JCrew. Second, we get back to L's house, and my car is gone. That's right, GONE. Apparently I parked blocking someone's driveway and it was towed. Okay, by fault, sorry. Then I find out I have to pay $95 for the release form from the sheriff's office, and another $280 to the towing company. WTF!?!?! $375 later I get my car back. Here's the best part my friends....I got my car back with a huge dent in the rear right panel! So it wasn't enough that who ever called the sherrif's department wanted my car towed, but they decide to vandalize my car. RUDE.

P.S. I called JCrew and they have my phone and I can pick it up in the morning. Thank you Jody at Jcrew. There are some nice people left in this world.

It's Britney Bitchhhh...

Britney's new CD came out yesterday and I hadddd to get it. I don't love it, but I do like a lot of the new songs, especially Womanizer and Circus. I actually really liked her last CD as well. (I''ve always been a Britney fan!) I'm so glad that she seems to be turning her life around, getting her career back on track, and not leaving the house looking like a hot mess anymore!

Did anyone out there happen to catch her documentary on MTV Sunday? I felt so bad for her, I was actually tearing up during one of the interviews. She just seems so lost and unhappy. I honestly cannot imagine what it's like to open your front door and have to face 50+ photographers day in and day out. I know she's a grown woman now and needs to take responsibility for her actions (including her crazy last couple of years)...but I really don't think any of us can judge or know how we'd react in the same situation. I hope she continues on this new path and goes on to gain back partial custody of her children and be able to make her own legal decisions again. I'm rooting for your Britney!

For those of you who live in the Bay Area, you've probably heard of a little place called "Kara's Cupcakes." A new location recently opened near me, and being that I've never tried it, I dragged P along last night to try out the famous cupcakes.

Let me just say, they were horrible!!! Now I'm not picky when it comes to desserts...if it's sweet I'll usually eat it (I'm not going to lie, hehe). I can honestly say, these were some of the worst cupcakes I've ever had. The cake was wayyyy too moist, almost to the point where they could have stayed in the oven longer. The frosting was terrible, like a big glob of pudding slopped on top of the cupcake...and overall they were pretty bland, bleh. Duncan Hines cupcakes from a box are 10 times better, seriously.

Anyone else out there had a bad experience at Kara's, or did I just get a bad batch???

My Weekend

Hope everyone out there had a great weekend!

P and I headed back home for the long weekend. This was the first Thanksgiving we've been home for in 4 years, so it was nice to spend time with family for the holiday. We spend Thanksgiving Day at his family's house and my parents, brother, and sisters were able to join us as well. It was the largest Thanksgiving dinner I've ever seen. There had to have been about 50 people at his Mom's having dinner, it was crazy! Fun, but crazy :) After dinner that night I went to see Twilight with my two sisters. Ok, so I had never even heard of this phenomena until I started seeing previews a few weeks back. Let me just say, I absolutely loved the movie! I was totally swept away by the story and the scenery was beatiful. I can't wait to read the books!

Friday morning I went shopping with my Mom and my youngest sister (the other sister was too tired to wake up at 5am). None of us felt like braving too many crowds, so we only went to Target. Black Friday is overrated in my opinion! The only thing I bought was a couple of $3.88 movies.

Friday evening we attended P's sister's wedding (which was the reason we went home in the first place). Let me just put this out there ladies...do not have your wedding durring the holidays! This is the busiest and most expensive time of year to travel...not cool. A plane ticket back home normally costs about $250 round trip...but during Thanksgiving weekend, the same ticket cost $650. Ridiculous. With that said, the wedding was nice...nothing spectacular or as beautiful as the ones displayed here in blog land...and that's all I'll say about that!

Saturday I slept in (finally!), had a nice long lunch with my family, and then we headed home. Today was back to work work work. Time to get started on my Christmas shopping and get my Christmas cards in the mail!

I wear flats almost every day to work. I used to wear heels everyday to work for the first two years I was in the workforce after college, and last year I decided that my feet had just about had it. So, last year I bought pants in the "short" or "ankle" length and started wearing flats. I LOVE IT!

Well, my favorite pair of black pointy Nina flats are starting to get a bit worn, so I've been on the hunt for a new pair of black flats. I bought these (in black) over the weekend at Coach for 50% off...

Sorry, no link is available, they're not on the Coach website anymore since they're clearance. I also wanted a new pair of weekend sneakers, so I went ols school and bought these :) You can never go wrong with Converse. I'm not a fan of the Converse line of shoes at Target though...yuck.

So I'm driving home from work yesterday evening, stopped at a red light. I happen to glance over to my right, and I see a woman driving a mini van...READING A BOOK! That's right, full on reading, glancing up every now and then to see if the light turned green...and when it did, she keeps on alternating between reading and looking at the road. Now the windows were tinted so I couldn't tell if there were children in the car or not, but it was a mini van, so I'm making an educated guess that she does drive with children in the car on occassion.

Now tell me this...why is it illegal to drive while holding and talking on your cell phone, but you can read a book while driving!?!?!

Just when you think you've seen everything. Only in California!

So I'm in JCrew a few weeks ago admiring this...

...but I couldn't justify spending almost SIXTY dollars on a sweatshirt, soft as it may be. [note: it's now on sale for $39]

Imagine my delight when I see this at Target...

...for $16.99...in like five colors. And yes, they are equally soft. So I bought the grey, black, and the green. :)

I love you JCrew, but I love Target prices more.

It was a normal lazy Sunday for me and I made my usual stop at Target. I came across this super cute black dress by Mossimo...for only $29.99!

It's kind of a light weight fabic though, so I will probably be saving this for the spring, but a deal, non the less.

I was thinking about how many posts I've had lately that feature items from Target. Now I've always loved Target and visit my local store at least once a week...however, lately I seem to be shopping there more often than anywhere else. I guess it can be attributed to the economy and the fact that everything at Target is pretty reasonably priced. Don't get my wrong, I have a great job that pays very well...I've just been trying to buget and spend wisely just in case.

Fingers crossed that 2009 will be a better year for our economy!

Yeah, it was a nice relaxing weekend. Work has been crazy. I vote for a four day work week. Any takers?

Marge Simpson! I'm really not all that into Halloween, and I haven't dressed up since my junior year in college, but pretty much our whole company dresses up for work that day, so I will be participating this year. Hopefully I can find a wig that is a little less hideous! I'm thinking of getting a wig like this:

and making it "Marge-style" myself with a pice of foam and some pins. Isn't the dress cute? It's Isaac Mizrahi from Target and so are the shoes (which I already had). Yes, technically it should be strapless, but I didn't really like any of the green strappless dresses I found. So, basically I'll be Marge, the preppy version! :)

I'm happy to report that my P was able to get me a copy of the Sex and the City movie...yea! As an added bonus, this came in the mail yesterday. I was able to find one on ebay...for $49 + shipping. Yes, I paid fifteen dollars more than it costs retail. What can I say, I love argyle!

SEX AND THE CITY THE MOVIE

Good News: The Sex and the City movie came out on DVD today!
Bad News: Target was sold out of the special edition...which contains two alternate endings.

Luckily the nice electronics employee informed me they will be re-stocked by tomorrow morning...and my nice husband (referred to as 'P' from here on out) will return to Target tomorrow morning to pick me up a copy. Yea!

Five Things I ♥ Right Now

1. Kate Spade Sunglasses - This is my first pair of designer sunglasses and they're awesome! Prior to these I've always bought my glasses from Forever 21 or other such stores. This pair was on clearance for 50% at Solstice recently and came out to $80. What a deal!

2. One Tree Hill - I LOVE this show and I'm not embaressed to admit it! I spent all summer watching old episodes with my sister (I only recently discovered this show on Soap Net) and season 6 started a few weeks back on the CW network. Way better than the OC!

3. Bright Crystal - I've never really been a perfume girl, but I'd been searching for a signature sent for months and recently came across Versace's Bright Crystal. I absolutely love it! It's very light and fresh and perfect for everyday wear, even for the office.

4. Black Round Toe Pumps - I'm loving these new heels from Boutique 9. I'd been wanting a similar pair from Kate Spade, but wasn't quite ready to shell out almost $300. Imagine my suprise when I found a near identical pair at Marshall's for $10 on clearance. Yes, that's right, I said $10!!! I googled this brand and it looks like they normally retail for $100+...I ♥ Marshall's.

P.S. These shoes are really comfortable too!

5. Pizza - I love this locally owned pizza joint in San Jose. Their pizza is awesome...if you love thin crust NY pizza, this place is for you!
